Second shooting at Rufflets Hotel St Andrews wedding photographer – Quite often, in this industry opportunities arise in the form of second shooting for other wedding photographers. This is great for wedding photographers like myself to get more work and more shooting time to fill up the void.
Second shooting at Rufflets Hotel St Andrews wedding photographer
I always find it an honour when a fellow wedding photographer asks me to help out at their wedding. This shows they believe in my work and trust me to deliver. I have a ready to help attitude and will always help out others where possible.
This also helps to strengthen relationships with other photographers and wedding suppliers in the industry.
I also find it fascinating to see how other photographers work and I always find that I learn something new. I take this with me and see how I can improve myself and my business to deliver a great service.
When second shooting, I always make sure I stay out the main photographers way and I try and take a step back. This allows me to take the more candid, natural wedding photos. Sometimes, it’s nice to photograph from a different perspective and with less pressure which gives the couple a nice mixture of photos to treasure.
last year, I helped out a photographer friend of mine at a wedding. The wedding ceremony took place in the small
Fife village of Freuchie at Freuchie Parish Church in Fife. We then moved on to the beautiful Rufflets Hotel, St Andrews, Fife for the wedding reception. I haven’t shot at Rufflets Hotel wedding venue before so I was really looking forward to it. I do hope to shoot more of my own weddings there in future.
