Jill & Ross St Andrews, Fife pre wedding shoot – When planning a pre wedding shoot, I often pick a location such as woodlands, parks or landmarks; ideally some place colourful. I try and scout out locations before the shoot and run it by the couple.

I met Jill & Ross in May for their Fife pre wedding shoot. We began by chatting and catching up on their plans for their wedding. They are due to get married at the lovely Forbes of Kingennie near Dundee and I really can’t wait to photograph their wedding.

I took them to the historic and famous St Andrews, Fife for their pre wedding shoot. On the way, we stopped by a beautiful rapeseed field for some photos. I couldn’t help but feel having the couple in the field of vibrant yellow would make for some epic pre wedding photos! It’s something a little different as well to the norm and I like to try and be different and have my photography to stand out.

We proceeded to St Andrews Harbour for a few more photos. The enclosed harbour provides idyllic walks from the beautiful stoned long pier taking in lovely views of St Andrews Cathedral and the rugged coastline of East Fife. It’s also one of the oldest working harbours in the country and still providing an income for local fishermen.

Pre wedding shoots are a great way to feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. If you’re looking to book your Fife wedding photographer, please get in touch here. I’d love to hear from you.
